About
Little millet is the smallest of the millet varieties. These whole, unpolished grains are vacuum packed to help keep them ready for your kitchen. Naturally farmed without chemicals or pesticides, little millet is a popular choice in India during Navratri. It contains magnesium, zinc, vitamin B3 (niacin), phosphorus and protein.
How to use
As these are whole grains, soak them for 8–10 hours, then drain away the soaking water. Cook according to the instructions on the pack.
- Serve cooked little millet in place of rice alongside your favourite dishes.
- Use it in a range of dishes wherever you would usually use rice.
- Grind the grains into flour to make puris or parathas.
